Description

United Way Day of Caring on October 8, 2010

Volunteers were able to help complete the garden on Barnum Avenue, which now has a new shed, pergola, deck, brick walk way, plots, composter and garden markers. The morning crew was able to save and offer many of existing vegetables, from the garden, to passers by, in the community. In addition, a few passers by didn't even know the property was a garden and have now joined the community garden as well.
