Mission Statement

Project MARCH is a safe haven afterschool program for up to 60 (sometimes more) elementary school aged at-risk students living in the Pisgah View, Deaverview and Woodridge Apartments providing academic assistance, a healthy snack and enrichment activities.

Description

Our biggest challenge at all of our learning centers is having children raise their hands for help on their homework and not being able to receive it because there just isn't enough help to go around. There are about 20 children at each site and only two or three staff members. We could use help in snack preparation, homework assistance, child supervision and clean-up when pogram is ending or has ended.
