Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
The West Virginia Botanic Garden, in harmony with nature, seeks to enhance the quality of life through public enjoyment and education involving inspirational landscapes and displays of a rich variety of ornamental plants appropriate to the region.
The WVBG is located on an 82 acre area which was the site of the former Tibbs Run Reservoir. The site is diverse in natural habitats including severl different forest types, wetlands, meadows, streams and seasonal pools. In addition, several designed flower gardens provide beauty and interest to the site. Site tours, educational and interpretive programs, and special events are a few of the offerings. Many volunteer opportunities are available! Check out the website www.wvbg.org or contact the volunteer coordinator for more info.
