Mission Statement

The purpose of Covenant Mentoring Network (CMN) is to use a faith-based solution focused biblical principles to provide mentoring services for immigrant and refugee kids and youths in our community, by providing positive role model.

Description

CMN provide an outreach program to enhance the personal, educational occupational and spiritual development of immigrant and refugee youths by offering support, guidance, and assistance towards assimilation, integration, socialization and Americanization. The philosophy of Covenant Mentoring Network is to focus on providing positive role model, moral tune-up, character education, civic engagement and development of strong moral values through skill building activities for immigrant kids and youths in our community. Our faith-based mentoring project has a faith-based setting with Christian religious overtones. This mentoring network will strive to transmit Christian religious values and will recruit mentors of Christian faith. Our mentoring program will fall into three categories:

  • Academic-curriculum driven
  • Friendship-faith/community based, recreational program, learning more about yourself
  • Career driven
