Mission Statement
Refugees flee war and persecution with simple hopes - safety and the chance for a new beginning. The mission of our organization is to assist in the reception and resettlement of refugees from all over the world who have escaped persecution in their home countries. Our goal is to help refugees attain self-sufficiency as quickly as is possible, in addition to making them feel welcome and easing their transition into this country.
Description
We assist foreign refugees (those who have been persecuted in and forced from their homeland) entering our country. We help them by furnishing apartments for them as comfortably as possible with donated items, locating jobs, teaching English, helping with school and health related issues, and providing opportunities for them to become oriented with the culture and social environment.
