The purpose for which the corporation is formed are as follows:

a) To provide quality affordable housing for people of low and moderate income levels in the greater Bedford Stuyvesant community;

b) To provide economic development opportunities to revitalize the greater Bedford Stuyvesant community; and

c) To promote the well being and betterment of the greater Bedford Stuyvesant community and its residents.

Description

ADC provides exemplary comprehension integrated programs that combat the effects of substandard housing, educational and economic deprivation and the destruction of the family unit.

We aim to provide:

  • Quality housing for all people with different income levels and disabilities.
  • Alternative developmental educational programs using information technology as the primary methodology for adults, children and personal with disabilities.
  • Economic development opportunities to revitalize the Bedford Stuyvesant community.
  • Integrated social service programs to strengthen the family unit and the community.
