Description

The Lakeland Emergency Squad proudly serves Andover Borough, Andover Township, and Byram Township by providing emergency medical services to the community. Our members range in age from 16 to 75 and all of the training is free. In 2009, Lakeland EMS responded to 1,252 calls.

Our first due coverage area is approximately 50 square miles of southern Sussex County, where over 15,000 people reside, about 10% of the County's population. We provide mutual aid to the surrounding towns including Newton, Stanhope, Netcong, Hopatcong, Budd Lake, Green, Allamuchy, Franklin, Roxbury, and Sparta.
