Description

Physical, occupational, speech therapists utilize the movement of a horse as a tool to acheive therapeutic goals. Hippotherapy is used with clients who have physical disabilities, sensory integration difficulties, speech-language disorders, and cognitive challenges. Hippotherapy is recommended by physicians and therapists to facilitate arousal and attention, balance, postural stability, mobility, and muscle tone and strength.
