It is the mission of NCIA to help create a society in which all persons who come into contact with the human service or correctional systems will be provided an environment of individual care, concern, treatment and personal security.

Description

NCIA's Youth in Transition (YIT) Residential Treatment Program serves adolescents and young adults who present a therapeutic challenge and have need for specialized, intensive treatment services. The program provides a continuum of care from community-based alternative living units to supervised independent living. The overall goal of the program is to reintegrate youth into the community and to assist them with living successfully in the least restrictive environment conducive to meeting their individual needs.
