Mission Statement

The Urban Park Rangers strive to instill a sense of stewardship for the city's green spaces via interactive education and recreation experiences in city parks in all five boroughs.

Description

The Urban Park Rangers are New York City's official environmental educators, conducting school, after-school, and weekend environmental and recreation programs in parks citywide. The Rangers also run 12 Nature Centers in all five boroughs.
