Mission Statement

Project Linus is a non-profit volunteer organization with a two-fold mission. * First, it is our mission to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer "blanketeers." * Second, it is our mission to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.

Description

We provide handmade blankets to Columbus area children who are in need of comfort.

Project Linus is a great way to help children. It's easy to make fleece blankets without a sewing machine. My kids love to select the fleece fabrics to make the blankets, and they feel good knowing their blankets are going to kids in the hospital.

This is a great way to use your knitting, crocheting, and quilting skills to help out kids going through some very rough times.
