I am all about helping children. Every volunteer position I've held was associated with children, I have close to 2000 hours with Give Kids the World in Florida, our family made meals at the local Ronald McDonalds House for a year, and I also volunteered at Nemors Children Hosp. So, making blankets in my own home is just another joy.

Youth and Family Alternatives, Inc. received a donation of blankets for our kids who are going into foster care in Osceloa County. The blankets are all handmade by women in our community, and our kids use and appreciate their blankets! The purpose and intent of the blankets is for kids who are going into foster care to have something they can keep that is of comfort. It is really important for these kids to feel appreciated and special and Project Linus has done that big time!.
