Mission Statement

The mission of the Nappanee Public Library is to provide and actively promote access to resources for all people, regardless of their cultural background, viewpoint, gender, or educational level, so that individuals may improve the quality of their lives.

Description

The Nappanee Public Library serves a population of 6,700 residents within the city of Nappanee. A recent building project included renovation and expansion of the library to 22,300 sq ft. The unique architecture features a 1937 building carefully preserved and enclosed within the new structure. Meeting rooms, a computer lab, a reading room with a fireplace and cappucino bar and an extensive local history collection are just some of the highlights of this active library facility.
