Mission Statement

Whittier City School District and the community of Whittier believe that our children are our future. We have formed a partnership to provide Community Learning Centers at local schools which provide a safe and nurturing environment for students and community members to grow and learn.

Description

The Reach for The Stars After School Program serves elementary ages youth at nine elementary and two middle school sites. We are open from school dismissal (2:30 pm) until 6:00 pm on all school days. We offer homework assistance, sports/recreation and a variety of enrichment activities such as music, art, drama, dance, science, language arts and mathematics support.
