Mission Statement

Our mission consists of two intertwined goals: To end violence against women and children and to work for fundamental social change that promotes respect for all segments of our diverse society.

Description

The Women's Center currently has two programs. The battered women's program services include a 24-hour emergency shelter and crisis line for battered women and their children, advocacy, information and referral, community education, and support groups for both women and children. The Alex & Brandon Child Safety Center provides court-ordered supervised child visitation as well as safe exchanges of children for unsupervised visits where there has been domestic violence.
