Mission Statement

To raise funds and awareness for the Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity through our annual Run/Walk event (10K Run, 5K run, 5K walk, Youth Fun Run) by involving families and businesses in the surrounding areas. 100% of the profits from this event go to Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity to build homes in the West Columbia/Cayce areas.

Description

The Habitat for Humanity Run/Walk is an annual event hosted by Providence Presbyterian Church in West Columbia, SC. There is a 10K Run, 5K Run, 5K Walk and Youth Fun Run, all followed by a full pancake breakfast. The 10K Run is a USATF-certified course (SC04027BS), and both timed runs (10K and 5K) are part of the Columbia Running Club's Tour de Columbia, a series of races to promote running for fun and to assist the community by raising money for local non-profits.
