The mission of Arts Horizons is to foster the development of the whole person and to improve the quality of education by delivering quality arts programs and activities to schools and communities".

Description

We work in partnership with schools and communities, offering curriculum related arts education programs, professional development for teachers and after school programs for youth at risk. Founded in 1978 with one music assembly, today we offer multicultural programs in a variety of arts disciplines - music, dance, visual arts, theatre and creative writing - and feature more than 300 artists. Arts Horizons serves students from pre-K to grade12. This includes all students - general, gifted and talented, challenged and at-risk, as well as their teachers and parents.
