Mission Statement

The Conservation Law Foundation works to solve the environmental problems that threaten the people, natural resources and communities of New England. CLF's advocates use law, economics and science to design and implement strategies that conserve natural resources, protect public health, and promote vital communities in our region. Founded in 1966, CLF is a nonprofit, member-supported organization

Description

The Conservation Law Foundation is the largest regional environmental advocacy organization in the United States. We're based in New England, where our attorneys, scientists, economists, and policy experts work on the most significant threats to the natural environment of the region, and to the health of its residents. We've been around since 1966, and now maintain advocacy centers in Boston, Massachusetts; Montpelier, Vermont; Concord, New Hampshire; Rockland, Maine; and Providence, Rhode Island.
