Mission Statement
The mission of Midland Mentors is to match each youth in the Midland County Juvenile Care Center Day Treatment Program with a mentor.
Description
Midland Mentors is the mentoring program for adolescents in the Day Treatment Program, the school and treatment program established by the 42nd Circuit Court Family division, at the Midland County Juvenile Care Center. These are all young people in the juvenile justice system - the most at-risk children of Midland County. Adult mentor volunteers are asked to spend time each week with a youth from the Center - doing things together that will help the youth experience positive, pro-social activities and engage the youth with our local community.
