The current mission of Ruthmere, a property of the Beardsley foundation, is to preserve its site, buildings, archives, and collections, and to present them to the public through research, education, and exhibition.

Description

A Beaux Arts residence that reflects the lifestyle of an affluent midwestern family. Owned orginally by A.R. and Elizabeth Beardsley. Visitors encounter elaborate window treatments, silk and velvet wall coverings, fine art and period furnishings.
