Sharon R. Bock, Clerk & Comptroller, 15th Judicial Circuit, Palm Beach County. The Clerk & Comptroller is a Constitutional Officer who is elected every four (4) years. The Palm Beach County Clerk & Comptroller's office provides services to the public, legal community, courts, the Palm Beach County government and the Florida state government. Among the responsibilities of the Office of the Clerk & Comptroller are the following: Assuring the county government funds are spent only for approved, public-serving purposes; Providing clerks for jury cases; Recording orders for legal judgments; Collection and distribution of court fees, fines and assessments including child support and alimony payments; Maintenance of legal records; Issuance of marriage licenses; Investing county funds; Recording and maintaining minutes of the Board of County Commissioners, County Zoning Board and Value Adjustment Board.
