National Volunteer Week 2021 Is Here!
Celebrate with us as we highlight #ArtAsActivism!
To instill hope: increase self-worth and facilitate independence. To change individual lives through quality housing, employment, and related supportive services. Strengthening communities by providing the blueprint and tools for individuals to rebuild their lives and reach their full potential.
The Volunteers of America Northern California and Northern Nevada operates more than 40 programs including housing, employment services, substance abuse and recovery services to families, individuals, veterans, seniors, and youth. VOA-NCNN provides shelter or housing to over 2,800 men, women and children every night. We are more than a nonprofit organization. We are a ministry of service that includes nearly 16,000 paid, professional employees dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. We have all "volunteered" to answer the call to serve.
