The mission of The Nature Conservancy is to preserve the plants, animals, and natural communitites that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive.

Description

The Nature Conservancy of Kentucky works to preserve the commonwealth's natural treasures through on-the-ground conservancy projects. Since our founding in 1975, we have worked to preserve over 100,000 acres through private preserve creation, private landowner easments and partnership agreements with private, state and federal entities.
