Dakota County Library is a nine branch library system providing services and resources throughout the County.

  • 5,327,447 items were checked out
  • 269,007 reference questions were answered
  • 2,193,975 people visited the nine branch library buildings
  • 20,291 children and teens participated in summer reading and read-to-me programs
  • 33,807 people attended 961 library summer storytimes and programs
  • 104,465 people attended 2,802 library sponsored programs
  • Customers used library computers for 332,898
  • Volunteers donated 11,638 hours to help the library in many different ways
