Mission Statement

YouthZone is a local nonprofit in Western Colorado dedicated to empowering and strengthening youth and families. We work with young people and families who want the tools to succeed and with communities who want to help make that happen. We currently have over 30 programs in the areas of prevention, intervention and advocacy. We see each child as a multi-faceted, complex human being with many needs, desires, talents and motivations. Because of this, YouthZone's approach is to provide each youth with a comprehensive, individualized program, designed to meet the unique needs and strengths of each individual.
