Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Seniors Council to enable older persons to funcition with independence and dignity in their homes and in the community to their fullest capacity.

Description

The Seniors Council is a 501(c)(3) organization, serving the counties of San Benito, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, & Monterey.

As an umbrella NonProfit organization, the Seniors Council serves the senior community and their caretakers through the following direct service programs (listed below), which are always in need of volunteers.

The Seniors Council operates five programs, including:

Project SCOUT
Foster Grandparent Program
Senior Companion Program
Tri-County In-Kind Program
Area Agency on Aging (AAA)

As an Area Agency on Aging, the Seniors Council has eight AAA contrated service providers, including:

Advocacy, Inc.
Community Bridges, Meals on Wheels
Family Services Agency (FSA)
Jovenes de Antaño
Senior Citizens Legal Services
Senior Network Services
Vista Center
Volunteer Center
