Mission Statement

The Mission of the Rays of Hope is to promote prosperity by providing programs to eliminate hunger, and decrease the poverty rate among

citizens. To eradicate illiteracy through tutoring. To improve the physical and psychosocial health and well being of the community through

mentorship, health education, wellness strategies, and public safety.

Description

We currently have a weekly food distribution on Wednesdays 2-4 pm. We are in partnership with the Peninsula Foodbank. Tuesdays 2:30-4:00 we bag the items to be distributed on Wednesdays. We also have group mentoring program for young men and women ages 12-19. We are in the process of starting a tutoring program.
