Mission Statement

The Magis Foundation, TMF, is a Puerto Rican Non Profit Organization dedicated to promote mental health awareness and education through our free-of-cost programs. We believe in the importance of mental well being in the families within each community and our focus is to provide them with the support needed to live healthy.

Our mission is to promote mental health for the development and wellbeing of Puerto Rican families each day and during times of crisis.

Description

Our goals:

  1. To work with our local community members to promote mentally healthy lives;
  2. To educate and empower families by helping them better understand and manage mental health issues that can affect them;
  3. To neutralize the concept of " mental illness" through education;
  4. To foster the development of our current and future mental health professionals.
