Our mission is to bring the healing benefits of yoga to those who might otherwise not have access to it. We are committed to serving all who wish to benefit from Yoga by respecting and meeting the needs of the individual regardless of physical capability, health, background, age, experience, or financial means.
Description
The Healing Yoga Foundation (HYF) is a non-profit service, support, education, and research organization dedicated to health, healing, and personal development through yoga. Healing Yoga Foundation is a project of Tides Center, a nonprofit public charity exempt from federal income tax under Sections 501(c)3 and 509(a)1 of the Internal Revenue Code.
At HYF, we believe in the power of yoga to support healing, reduce symptoms, manage illness, and maintain health. Our individual centered approach is the heart of our work and it is this distinguishing element that allows us to serve those who come to us for support at multiple levels. This personalized approach empowers people and communities to actively participate in their own healing and personal development.
We have brought programs to at-risk and health-affected populations through our center and community outreach.

Anxiety / Depression
Insomnia
Homeless programs
We partner with organizations such as Commonweal Cancer Help Program, Compass Family Services, health and urban housing Clinic, institute for the Study of health and illness, Holy Family Day Home to name a few.
