Mission Statement

Woodlawn Nature Center is dedicated to the preservation and conservation of Indiana's native flora and fauna through hands-on education.

Description

Hiking trails, small prairie, butterfly garden, bird and squirrel feeding area outside. Many exhibits (Prairie to Forest, Mastodon, Wetlands, Native Fish of the Great Lakes, Native American, Rocks and Minerals), seasonal working beehive, wildlife viewing room, large insect display, microscopes, activity table and games, hands-on furs and skulls, fossil dig site, Giving Tree, membership options, Saturday afternoon programs and workshops.
