Project Linus is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization. It is our mission to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comort to children who are seriously ill, tramatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer blanketmakers.

I found this organization while participating in a Disney volunteer "Give a Day Get a Day" program. We made blankets and delivered them to her home. She was very easy to communiciate with by email. Delivery of blankets can be left at her door in an apartment complex well-marked with her home-made sign. Seems like a very organized setup, by a hardworking, committed woman.
