Mission Statement

Participate in the Program of Voluntariado of the Municipal Secretary of Environment! The voluntary work has been more and more in evidence. We of the Municipal Secretary of Environment, thought about creating a program to promote the culture of the volunteer work for the environmental questions of our city.

Description

The Program " Volunteers by nature " works as a service of volunteers' cadaster and non-governmental organizations, that want to dedicate part of their time to socioenvironmental projects , without any remuneration. A page in Internet was also created to register the volunteers and to explain them the way the Program works. The address of the page is: www.rio.rj.gov.br/smac.
