Answer call lights while the nurse is with another patient, bring water to patients, help family members find their way, take vital signs and much more! We are looking for volunteers to join our fabulous gift shop! The gift shop has three shifts and we have various shifts open. At this time we are looking for two volunteers to help on Saturdays 10a-2p. Keeping the shop open 7 days a week is high priority in our hospital. It allows the employees and visitors to escape from the hospital and look at all our great gifts. Gift Shop volunteers receive a 25% discount as well as a food allowance of $8. We have the following opportunities at CareLift, Morton Plant Mease's free Van Transportation service: CareLift Van Drivers Drives customers to and from their Dr.'s appointments at select Baycare facilities. CareLift Van Drivers' Aides assist the driver and the customer in the van. i.e. navigation, helping people into the van, making sure they are buckled in. Customer Service Representatives answer the phones in the dispatch office and assist customers in scheduling rides. Our Fun, Active Volunteers are waiting for you to join them! We are looking for two volunteers to help out at our Food Clinic that supports the local community. One shift is every Friday and one is every Tuesday. Friday 8a-10a (times can change) this shift will be receiving the food that supplies our pantry. You will be unloading food, stocking shelves, and cleaning up afterwards. Tuesdays Morning7:15a-11:15a/afternoon11:15a-3:15p/evening 2:45p-7:00p you will be opening the clinic, checking in guests and helping them shop, then closing up the clinic. Some lite cleaning and lifting may be involved.
