Mission

The mission of BUGSLabs is to give at risk youth 17 - 24 a career and educational plan that improves their social, economic and educational conditions thus making them self sufficient in society.

Headquartered in Oakland, CA, BUGSLabs is a nonprofit focused exclusively on recruiting, incubating, training and matching young adults with employers nationwide.

How do we achieve this mission?

BUGSLabs accomplishes this mission by leveraging a mentoring program, training model that combines viable career skills, stipends, internships, college credit, an employer feedback system to place these young adults on a successful path to become economically independent.

Description

Our Program

BUGSLabs will provided these youth with a one-year training program to obtain rewarding careers in, Project Coordination, Information Security, Software Testing and Website Development. In addition, we also teach leadership, professional behavior and communication skills allowing them to be used as a qualified intern or simply hired on as a full time employee.
