Description

The Community U.P.L.I.F.T. Foundation, Inc is an organization created in direct response to the growing number of teens who are either falling through the cracks at school, at risk for becoming a teen pregnancy statistic, not incorporating healthy movement or eating habits, or not completely understanding the value of a post-secondary education.

The goal of this program is to identify teens that need educational support, an extra boost in self-esteem and/or self-confidence, as well as offer positive support systems to help them avoid the pitfalls that can derail their lives. The overall goal is to empower teens to make postive chanes in his/her life and become successful future leaders of the community.

UPLIFT focus on teens, age 13-19, residing in the Durham, Chapel Hill, and Wake County areas.
