Mission Statement

1. To assist survivors in recovering from extreme childhood abuse (including child pornography and prostitiution, ritualistic abuse, mind control experimentation, and torture) by providing support and information. 2. To educate survivors' partners and family, health care providers, clergy, law enforcement, and the general public about these matters.

Description

1. Sponsors three conferences a year in Oakland, CA. providing speakers, survivor panels, networking, small group discussions, and an art exhibit. 2. Publishes a quarterly 28-page magazine containing survivor articles on recovery, new approaches to treatment of extreme trauma, the history and sociology of abusive groups, international news, art work, poetry, book, movie and TV reviews. 3. Publishes a monthly 3-page newsletter with organizational news, short aticles, conference and event listings, ritual dates, notices of research proposals and new books, new web sites, and agencies and groups promoting healing. 4. Maintains a website with information for the general public and bulletin boards and chat rooms for members, their family and friends, and professionals. 5. Offers reprints of past articles.
