Mission Statement

Our Mission is to get kids involved in healthy activities and help them learn more about themselves and their environment through experiential learning (learn by doing).

Description

The 4-H Conservation Club is a 4-H project club dealing with the subjects of Wildlife Conservation, Water Conservation and Forestry.

The 4-H Conservation Club has adopted Pleasant Valley Park through PA CleanWays and have agreed to clean up trash in the park at least two times each year, as our community service project.

The 4-H Conservation Club supports the efforts of the PV Park Volunteers and their work at PV Park in Murrysville. Members of our 4-H club help them to build and maintain the trails at PV Park. Another project we will be undertaking with the PV Park Volunteers this year, will be to raise money to purchase and install educational Tree Signs. These signs, once installed, will help visitors of all ages easily identify around 40 different trees within Pleasant Valley Park.
