Mission Statement

Recognizing that a child's needs are best met in a family environment, DePelchin Children's Center strengthens the lives of children and families in our community by providing a continuum of services to prevent and resolve social and emotional crisis.

Description

Since 1892 DePelchin Children's Center has been offering services to the Houston community. Today, the services offered include: Counseling, Foster Care, Adoption, Transitional, Educational, and Residential.

Years ago, a close friend of mine during high school from Incarnate Word Academy, invited me to volunteer at the DePelchin Children's Center to assist in holiday gift packaging for foster children and families. Since December of 2015, I have not forgotten and the level of respect among everyone and the amazing connections that were made with fellow business colleagues. Although I am currently living in another state, I still contribute to the DePelchin organization as much as I can. Their genuine care and passion to help others has always inspired me to do the same.
