There is a hiring freeze for State Governmental positions. Recently we had a critical secretarial staff member leave for another position.

Much of her work, and what we most need help with, was interfacing with the public that comes into our office for assistance. I was wondering if your program could offer my office some assistance. Any help from your volunteers would be greatly appreciated.

I am hopeful that we can get one or more of your volunteers interested to help our very busy office fill a 40 hour work week (or some part of it) and to work with the regulated community.

There is a "Volunteer Agreement" which must be agreed to and signed by whoever may be interested in working for the Environment Department.
