Rooted in the resources and reputation of The University of Texas at Austin, the Texas Natural Science Center works to encourage awareness and appreciation of the interplay of biological, geological and environmental forces as it affects your world.

The Texas Natural History Collections (TNHC) contains preserved fish, reptile, amphibian, cave arthropods, and pinned insects. We are located on the Pickle Research Campus in North Austin, and are not open to the general public. We are looking for volunteers to assist in the day to day maintenance of the preserved fish collection.
