Mission Statement

The mission of the Bloomingdale Fund is to support in the public interest advancement of education, health, religion, community service and youth development.

Description

The Fund provides support educational institutions for programs that assist children. The Fund also supports community service projects. The Fund has partnered with the American Red Cross, Salvation Army and the United Way in community relief efforts. The Fund is a member of the District of Columbia VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster Relief). The Fund assisted in both the two most disasters to hit Washington, DC.
