Mission Statement

Promises for Parkinsons is dedicated to bringing hope to Parkinsons disease (PD) patients. We support scientific research that aims for a cure and a better way of life for those living with the disease, and we actively carry out various public events to incite others to help make a difference.

Description

Inspired by her father's strength and courage in battling Parkinsons disease, Stacey Mann set out on a journey to raise awareness and funds for Parkinsons disease research. Promises for Parkinson's was created in the spring of 2010 and is making a positive impact on the lives of over one million Americans living with Parkinson's.

Promises for Parkinsons has made a commitment to donate 85% of all funds raised directly to Parkinson's research. We have no paid staff, just full time volunteers.
