Mission Statement

SOME has 30 years of hands-on experience working with homeless men and women, providing direct services to meet their immediate needs and then to help them overcome what keeps them homeless and destitute. Leland Place is one of SOME's transitional housing programs for people in recovery.

Description

The Leland Place Transitional Housing Program is a 13 week, live in environment that is designed to help homeless men (who are addicted to drugs and alcohol and may also have a mental illness) become more self-reliant. The program participants are given the skills necessary to find and keep employment and to set goals for independent living while maintaining their sobriety.
