Mission Statement

Senior Cyber Net's mission is to improve the quality of life of physically, educationally and economically disadvantaged persons by providing them access to computers and training at little or no cost to them.

Description

Senior Cyber Net is a non-profit organization with three components: 1.Phoenix project: receives donated computers, refurbishes them and places them into homes of home-bound seniors. 2.Mentors: go into homes of home-bound seniors and train them on how to use the Internet and email. 3.Community centers: set up in various locations around the city. They provide a safe place for children to go after school where they can improve their computer skills and receive help with their homework. Also open to the general neighborhood to help close the digital divide.
