Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
Team Tally is a faith based personal encouragement network that was founded for the specific purpose of enabling the physically or cognitively challenged independent equestrian to have equal access to boarding facilities, public riding facilites, and to move out of the ranks of the disabled and compete mainstream.
Through a national network of members and volunteers, Team Tally will be educating the public on ADA compliance within the equine industry. Working closely with the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association in Denver, Colorado, we will open new doors of accessibility to disabled independent equestrians. An independent disabled equestrian is defined as the North American Riding for the Handicapped Assn. as, "That disabled equestrian who exhibits control and safely maneuvers himself and his mount within the specified discipline." We welcome all independent disabled or able bodied equestrians regardless of gender, race, creed, religious affiliation, or level of experience. If you love horses and want to include them in your life while enriching the opportunities of the disabled, you are already a part of us! (Under 18 requires parental consent and supervision.)
