In the 21st Century the United States shall overcome the legacy of slavery. We will create a society where shame gives way to pride, oppression bows to freedom, and every individual is encouraged to learn, to grow, and to contribute. Our nation will serve as a beacon, celebrating the oneness of the human spirit in the ongoing quest for freedom around the world.
