Zao is a Non-profit Organization by the State of Louisiana and the United States.
Zao means "to give life" and that is exactly what we aim to do. We are not a concerned with building establishments with our name plastered to the walls. We are about making sustaining life available to those in need.
We do this by empowering established non-profits that are struggling to keep their doors open. We enrich them with budget support, educational tools, motivation, missional support, marketing tactics, networking and the means to become completely self sufficient.
Our goal is to partner with many non-profits and connect them with people who want to give, volunteer, serve or go on mission.

Zao Ministries is 100% non-profit with no paid staff.
Zao Ministries is a Missions Base. Currently working with the vulnerable in Austin, Texas.
We are partnered with Mercy and Grace Orphanage in Andhra Pradesh, India. Zao Ministries has adopted 25 children and plan to adopt one more a month until all 200 children, at the orphanage, have support.
From 2008-2011 Zao supported 15 children in our children’s home in Uganda, The Joy House. As of the Summer of 2011, The Joy House has become self-sufficient. Zao Minstries will continue to support The Joy House when a need is presented.
