Mission Statement

We take special needs kittens and cats from kill shelters and occasionally the public, that are too young or ill to thrive in the traditional shelter environment. We then place them in foster homes and nurture them until they are old enough and healthy enough to be adopted.

Description

A cat and kitten rescue dedicated to rescuing animals that are at risk for euthanisia. These animals are placed in foster homes until they are large enough and healthy enough for adoption. Kitty City is unique. Even though we have our own adoption center, we are only open on weekends...during the week kitties are returned to their foster homes so they can be nurtured and loved until a purrmanent home can be found. Because we spend more time with our kitties, we know them and this helps us make a better match for families and kitties. All animals are altered, tested for feline leukemia and up to date on shots and worming upon adoption. We are an all volunteer no-declaw, indoor-only adoption organization. Microchipping is available
