Mission Statement

The Toughman Triathlon is a half-ironman distance triathlon in beautiful Croton Point State Park and neighboring Westchester County. The ToughKids race with varying distances for ages 4-14 will be held on Saturday September 11, 2010 in Croton Point Park. The Toughman race on Sunday September 12, 2010 course consists of a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run. The race concludes with a large bbq for all participants and volunteers!

Description

The Toughman Triathlon relies on the support of hundreds of volunteers, many of whom return each year to participate in Race Weekend.

Any group that brings 10 or more volunteers is eligible to receive a donation to their nonprofit or a nonprofit of their choice.

Through the Toughman Community Fund, volunteers also have the ability to fundraise on behalf of their volunteer efforts! Just as athletes often participate in sports events to raise awareness and funds for great causes, now you, as a volunteer, can use your volunteer service to the Toughman Triathlon as a platform for raising awareness and funds for a nonprofit cause of your choice.
