Mission Statement
Urban FIRE trains low income, inner-city residents to develop sustainable local businesses creating financial stability and community wellness.
Description
Urban FIRE is the entrepreneurship training born from real life experiences of business owners and successful individuals from around the world. It is training on the science of success first begun at Carnegie Mellon University and out-of-the-box methods of effective business development. It is viewing our interconnection to the environment we live in and participating as inclusive communicators for the betterment of our communities. It is building a foundation of moral ethics using the Bushido and the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. It is passionately acting upon Harvard University's science of personal genius and maximizing the latest research on brain functionality. We re-engage the civil rights ideals from the Highlander Center and connect the new faces of business through social media. It is not only about learning to start a successful small business, it is about learning how success is cultivated, nurtured and expanded. Successful entrepreneurship is simply a way of life as life was meant to be lived.
